Jeremy Harmon is currently pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Wind Conducting at the University of Kentucky. He previously served as the Director of Bands at Gar-Field High School in Woodbridge, VA for two years, and Director of Bands at Vinton County Local Schools in McArthur, OH for three years.
A native of Dover, Ohio, Jeremy received his Bachelor of Music Education at Ohio University (2011) and his Master of Music degree in Music Education at Ohio University (2016). He is currently active as an arranger and drill writer for the University of Kentucky Wildcat Marching Band and also arranges for the University of Maryland "Mighty Sound of Maryland" Marching Band, the Ohio University Marching 110, and numerous high schools around the country.
His primary teachers have included Dr. Richard Suk, Dr. Andrew Trachsel (Conducting), and Dr. Matthew James (Saxophone). Jeremy has professional affiliations with the College Band Directors National Association, the Ohio Music Educators Association (Professional Development Conference Clinician), the Virginia Band and Orchestra Directors Association, and the National Association for Music Education.
